As a multimedia producer for Vox Magazine, I reached out to Creekside Revival to be a podcast guest on Vox Voice. As part of the assignment, I took photos to compliment the piece. This story developed into the professional relationship I have now with Creekside Revival as their social media content creator. I have included some freelance photography I’ve done for them as well.
From right, Issac Schneider and Andrew Allen of Creekside Revival. The duo both say that acoustic music runs in their family and have early memories of their grandfathers strumming guitar — Allen’s father would try to teach his son how to play the guitar, but he only had four fingers and this would confuse Allen’s chord memorization.
Both musicians write, play guitar and sing their songs, making their music a team effort. Schneider says that because it is a collaboration, they are often critical of each other’s lyrics and composition to ensure they produce quality songs.
